ashbrittle yew tree

The ancient Yew Tree in Ashbrittle. Believed to be over 2,000 years old it is one of the oldest living things in Europe.

Ashbrittle is a village located approximately halfway between Wiveliscombe and Wellington in the west of Somerset. The principle attraction in Ashbrittle has to be the ancient Yew tree growing on a mound in the churchyard.
