Combe Sydenham Hall was once known chiefly for its connections with Sir Francis Drake, who married the daughter of the house. Today, Coombe Sydenham is the setting for mounting biking; the fishing on its three spring-fed trout lakes; and 4x4 / Quad biking. On a quiet day it's a nice spot for a stroll and a picnic.
