Hunting in Exmoor and West Somerset

Exmoor is primarily an upland area made up mainly of small villages and hamlets. The largest settlements are Porlock, Dulverton, Lynton, and Lynmouth, Simonsbath and Wheddon Cross.

Whatever your opinion on the subject, fox hunting, stag hunting, otter hunting, and hare hunting with hounds have long been popular activities - either active or passive - with a fairly large proportion of the country dwellers of Exmoor and West Somerset.
