Lynton and Lynmouth Comedy Festival

Exmoor is primarily an upland area made up mainly of small villages and hamlets. The largest settlements are Porlock, Dulverton, Lynton, and Lynmouth, Simonsbath and Wheddon Cross.

The Lynton & Lynmouth Comedy Festival will have something to appeal
to everyone.   Along with some afternoon family friendly content,
there is also three solid evenings of quality comedy acts culture and
shows.  Programmed for wide appeal, anyone from teens to later life
should hopefully be able to find plenty to relate to and enjoy.
 
The twin towns of Lynton & Lynmouth, nestled on the coast in the heart
of Exmoor, really lend themselves to this festival in being such a
stunning, unique and yet quite quirky location.  All of the fringe
style shows programmed are free, making the festival more accessible,
and the eclectic mix of venues will provide a perfect setting.
 
A taste of this year's lineup includes shows from Abandoman ('New Act
of the Year 2010'), Ashley Frieze's 'Seven Deadly Sings', Marcel
Lucont, stand up from Mark Olver, a laughter workshop and Scrabble
Sunday, plus much much more.
 
Being a completely free event, this exciting new festival will make an
ideal and affordable chance to get out and get cultured.
