Things to do in the Exmoor Area

 

 

 

 

 

Exmoor is primarily an upland area made up mainly of small villages and hamlets. The largest settlements are Porlock, Dulverton, Lynton, and Lynmouth, Simonsbath and Wheddon Cross.

The Exmoor region has a splendid range of things to do and places to see. These range from hiring a canoe or kayak to paddle the River Exe or Barle to taking a leisurely ride on a narrow gauge steam train along the scenic railway line from Woody Bay. Here are just a few possible activities you might want to try in and around Exmoor.
